The lead singer of the Long Blondes (Kate Jackson). She seems pretty sharp and foxy.

How do you discover new music?

I try to keep up with music blogs but I tend to listen to everything that makes it into our station record library.

What do you love, besides music?

Cooking and any food in general.

What was the last great book you read?

Stiff – Mary Roach (very dry-humorous look into what happens with bodies donated to science). I need to read more though…

What band/musician do you think is about to break out?

Le Loup is an awesome band from DC. They had one of my favorite albums of 2007.

What charity or social cause (non-political) are you passionate about?

I know it’s pretty nerdy, but internet neutrality is going to be a big issue soon. Also, it would be nice if the FCC did something about media monopolies.
