Slim Cessna's Auto Club, along with Th' Legendary Shack Shakers and Reverend Horten Heat, are the most important band in the entire rockabilly scene. That's just one category in which they've broken the mold. Their stage shows come off as tent revivals, with Slim and his partner, Jay Munly, leading the crowds in testimony and worship.

With elements of gospel, punk rock, metal, and even vaudeville, Slim Cessna are mindblowing live. They speak in tongues, yodel, jump into the crowd, and work themselves into a complete frenzy. The band converted the masses at Reggie's Rock Club in Chicago June 6, 2008. Thirsty was there.
