The greatest men in history were grand, eloquent speakers. Churchill. Roosevelt. Kilmister. The rock god himself checked in for Thirsty's 2-year anniversary after yet another hellraising South American tour.

Thirsty first met Lemmy last spring on the road with The Head Cat. We shared Jack Daniels, Marlboro Reds, and video poker before Lem took the stage and shredded an ecstatic sold-out crowd.

He's a man of few words in this case. But - when your job is being Lemmy - what else is there to say?

Thirsty: Tell me about the new Motorhead record. It was recorded in Dave Grohl's studio? How long have the two of you known each other?

Lemmy: That's two questions. I've known Dave about 10 years and if you want to know about the album, listen to it!

Thirsty: You have a documentary coming out next year. When did the directors approach you to do this? What was it like having them work so closely with you?

Lemmy: Last year. Cool!

Thirsty: What do you think will surprise your fans the most in this film?

Lemmy: The view of my inner ear.

Thirsty: There's a lot of Motorhead out in the mainstream right now - cell phone commercials, Guitar Hero contests, etc. Is there anything else coming out with the Motorhead brand?

Lemmy: Motorhead condoms - "Go to bed with Motorhead."

Thirsty: You are going to be on an episode of "Californication" - how did that come about? Is David Duchovny a fan of yours? Did you ever watch "The X-Files"?

Lemmy: They offered me money. Don't know. Yes.

Thirsty: Are there any artists you still want to work with? Record with or take on tour?

Lemmy: Janet Jackson, maybe!

Thirsty: How have your audiences changed throughout the years? Have they changed more in the US than in Europe or South America?

Lemmy: No, not changed - three generations now!

Thirsty: You're going out on tour with Judas Priest in August. Have you ever worked or toured with them before?

Lemmy: 1990 or 91 - Operation Rock 'n' Roll.

Thirsty: Would you ever do more movie cameos, like your appearance in "Airheads"?

Lemmy: Yeah.

Thirsty: Slash says he cannot play Guitar Hero, especially the Guns n' Roses songs! Do you play?

Lemmy: No.

Thirsty: What movies have you seen lately? Are you listening to any new music?

Lemmy: Lots.

Thirsty: What artist has had the most influence on you as a musician? Who inspired you to become who you are today?

Lemmy: Women and Little Richard.

Thirsty: When you're not busy with Motorhead, you're playing with The Head Cat. Are you still planning to tour with them?

Lemmy: Yeah - a bit.

Thirsty: What kinds of things do you do when you're not on the road? What do you do in your spare time?

Lemmy: Spare time?
