The Auctioneers should make your radar when their self-titled debut EP is released at the end of March 2010. EB Sollis (lead vocals and guitar), Erik Broberg (guitar and backing vocals), Donovan Pyle (drums), Ryan Alexander Gregg (piano) and Chris “The Monster” Kapica (bass) have something to keep an eye on. Recorded at Detroit’s Rustbelt Studios and produced by Aaron Julison, the New York-based group covers the landscape with a singular brand of rock infused with boogie, a little country and a dash of soul.
