Our sources in the Southeastern United States have uncovered a young band on the rise. Something electric happens when frontman Jacob Jeffries takes the stage. Formed in 2006 by Jeffries and Jimmy Powers on guitar, Brian Lang on bass, and Josh “Papa Bear” Connolly on drums, stops on the road have included appearances at the NAMM Conference for Baldwin Pianos in Anaheim, BMI’s Leaf Lounge at Sundance, and SXSW for BMI’s Acoustic Brunch. Currently, the band includes additional alternating members Nick Nardone on bass and Brian Lang on drums.

Recognized by the Miami Herald as one of Miami’s most buzzed-about independent artists, singer-songwriter Jacob Jeffries and his band have released a series of albums engineered and produced by Grammy Award-winners Sebastian Krys and Dan Warner. Their latest album is Waiting for the Piano Movers.

We think performances by the Jacob Jeffries Band are about to become a very well-known secret.
