Brandy Row: "Crazy World"
Brandy Row, London's upcoming singer-songwriter, captivated our minds and music senses at Grand Victory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. His jagged yet melodic style of rock n' roll is something most of us have not heard in a long time - especially in New York City!
The night was absolutely rocking with an amazing line-up including Wailin Storms, The Love Club, Puma Perl, The Rewd Ones, The Cynz, Kreb and The Maynard G's, The Bowery Boys and The Minor Cuts featuring Ali McMordie from Stiff Little Fingers.

Brandy Row's songs come straight from the heart. His lyrics tell of loss, struggle and getting through each day as best we can. His influences are apparent - Johnny Thunders, Stiv Bators, Joe Strummer and Billy Bragg to name a few. His guitar style can be described as punk and folk put in a blender on chop. His sense of Brit-style is not to be messed with. Brandy is self-made, edgy and expressive.
Brandy did his solo thing, but was later joined onstage by the stellar all-star NYC lineup of Louisa Bradshaw of Siren's Heart and the Bebe Buell Band, the infamous Danny Ray on saxophone, Joff Wilson of The Bowery Boys, Jeanne Carno-Rosenberg (Purple Pam & The Flesh Eaters) on drums and Aly McMordie again...
Brandy's first New York City tour had an overwhelming reception. With only a two-hour rehearsal, the line-up joined Brandy onstage and proved that NYC has the most talented musicians in the world. Put these people in a room and just watch musical magic happen!
With more dates to come, the spirit of NYC punk rock is alive and well in Brandy Row. Just like his heroes before him, he'll stomp his way through the Lower East Side, claiming stages and breaking hearts. Rock n' roll!
Hey Ho, Let's Go..... Brandy Row is what's up guys!
