Although Sujari Britt is barely a teenager, she is a force of nature to be reckoned with. A four-time recipient of the Sidney E. Frank Foundation Scholarship at the Manhattan School of Music (MSM) where she studies under the noted pedagogue Marion Feldman in MSM's Precollege program, Sujari's talent and dedication place her in a class by herself.
In addition to numerous concert appearances around the nation, she was the 2013 Grand Prize winner of the New York Concerti Sinfonietta Shining Stars competition and a winner of the National Young Musicians Concerto Competition at Carnegie Hall's Weill Hall. She has performed on WQXR radio, with the Sinfonietta at Carnegie Hall, at The White House for President and Mrs. Obama and at the United Nations for World Humanitarian Day – all before she turned 13! In our view she has an extremely bright future and Stay Thirsty is proud to make Sujari Britt our Winter 2014 Spotlight Artist to watch.
